Whew!
The past 5 months have been the busiest yet for Lamoore Designs(the busiest perhaps of my entire life, even)-so much so that the word "busy" has sort of lost any real meaning.
I've learned many lessons since February, but have blogged so very little-mostly because I didn't want to bore everyone to tears!
Despite a few rough patches (trouble with suppliers, losing my entire hard drive, general lack of healthy routines), the period was largely successful-%100 of the ACTS orders were delivered on time, and yes, I did do a celebration dance! :)
The biggest, most powerful realization though?
Clutter is bad.
Until now, I've organized things so they just barely run efficiently-if I had to spend 5 minutes looking for my Sharpie, no biggie. When things got "busy" though, those 5 minutes were a very big deal, and I could no longer ignore the perils of my "eccentric" style of "decor".
So now what?
Well, I'm in the midst of a major overhauling of all my spaces: my sleeping space, officespace, workspaces, computerspace, carspace...all contributing to a less befuddled headspace!
I am saying Tara to my many collections, one by one they are being bagged, boxed, and stored. You wouldn't believe the crazy stuff I'm finding. The picture above is part of my "old clothes" collection which used to cram my closet. Look at all those colors! Today we have the wildest clothesline in the neighborhood, for sure, hehe.
Once my workspaces are up-to-par, I'll post some pics-something I've never been confident enough to do.
